Blind Guidance System

The aim of the project is to develop a guidance system that will greatly improve the accessibility, mobility and orientation of disabled people within the METRO DE MADRID network, in particular of blind people.

  • Develop Bluetooth beacon models with programmable range specific to the selected location as a prototype station.
  • To develop an intelligent system of location and guided through a Bluetooth beacon, through the Bluetooth signal emitted by the user's mobile phone.

Avifauna Project

This is a data processing system to automatically identify and locate in real time bird species present in an open natural environment, based on the capture of sound records of birds and their subsequent treatment and analysis by comparing the physical properties of the recorded sound and reference sounds. The database was created by experts from SEO (Sociedad Española de Ornitología) who, thanks to their experience and knowledge in the field, have prepared the correspondence between the species and the reference sonograms, analysing the characteristics and timbre and sound frequency patterns of each species.
